A private-sector and self regulated organization that acts as a watchdog against investment fraud

Established in 1981, the NFA oversees and fraudulent activities in futures and commodities industry. In addition it provides arbitration for complaints. For example, under NFA compliance, forex brokers can not advertise as such: “Profit off currency trading.” There are inherent risk involved and contents must strike a balance not to mislead investors of easy profit.
