The national currency of the People’s Republic of China.

The Renminbi is the official national currency used in mainland China. The denomination of the RMB is in Yuan, which can be used to mean the currency as well. In the market, it is traded as CNY. It has historically been pegged to the US Dollar, but perhaps by international pressures China’s leaders have swayed to slowly allow its currency to float freely.
