The central bank of New Zealand whose main purpose is to maintain efficiency and stability of New Zealand’s economy and financial system.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand was established in 1938 and is a centralized institution that is controlled by the government. It controls the money supply sets the Official Cash Rate (OCR) and regulates the banks.
